Yesterday, the Missions & Outreach Department held the “Annual Heritage House Staff Appreciation Luncheon” at the home of Laura Johnson. Heritage House is a county-run program for women with children in recovery. St. Andrew’s provides these women with a weekly Bible Study and discussion, so that their faith in Christ becomes the foundation of their recovery process. The staff at Heritage House work hard to pour into these women daily, and we wanted to take an afternoon to let them know how loved and appreciated they are. Yesterday we enjoyed lunch, worship, and an encouraging devotional on how God uses us to bring people to the feet of Jesus (Mark 2). The Missions & Outreach Staff, Heritage House Staff, and Heritage House Alumni were all in attendance.
*A special thank you to St. Andrew’s donors who made this event extra special.
