On Sunday, December 8, a group of St. Andrew’s junior high students headed over to the Project Hope Alliance offices in Costa Mesa to help get them ready for Christmas. The students got to hear from Susi Eckelmann, who works at Project Hope Alliance, about the different services that the non-profit offers such as education programs and the family stability program. Then our kids made Christmas decorations, helped decorate and make the offices festive, and helped out in the food pantry by stocking shelves and disposing of the expired food. When they heard it was time to get back, some of the students let out audible moans, clearly not ready to leave!
